In 2005, the industry exported more than $711 million in chocolate products to more than 160 countries around the world. Approximately 65,000 jobs in the US are directly involved in the manufacture of chocolate and confectionery products. Chocolate Manufacturers employ a workforce that is two -thirds the size of employment in Domestic Oil and Gas Extraction. |
